Within a day time, we will be having our 13th General Election. Oh yes, the time i believed,
each and everyone of us are waiting for since the last GE which has happened in 2008. The
12th GE has shown a big change when the new combination of PAS, PKR and DAP which is
known as Pakatan Rakyat, has denied the 2/3 majority of parliamentary seats for Barisan
Nasional. At that time, Pakatan Rakyat has won 82 parliament seats out of 222. It is actually a
good sign of the Malaysians' matured perspectives of politics. Malaysians are not blind any
more. They now know what is good and what is bad. Sometimes, we need to have some
changes in the politics landscape because these changes can be a catalyst for the parties in
charge to always be on alert of the rakyat's needs. If not, abuse of power will occur. I am not
siding towards any political parties, now. I am not even eligible to cast a vote as I am only 20
this year. However, it does not mean that i do not have a say in the nation political issues. As a
Malaysian, I am obliged to know and to have concern over the nation's politics. It depends on
the politics on how the nation will run. Whether it will run smoothly or badly, it all depends on the
winning party. Without a good and transparent politics, a nation can be filled with corruptions,
abuse of power and a whole lot more. Which is why, all you voters really need to think before
you cast your vote. One vote can make a huge different. Your vote will determine the future of
Malaysia. Whether you want to KEKAL or to UBAH it, it is up to you. One thing for sure,
sometimes changing is good.
