It's Eid Mubarak!

SELAMAT HARI RAYA, everyone!

Yes, Hari Raya is here already and it is about time i update this blog although no one is reading it... 

Anyway, i'm writing this for my my own pleasure. I'm not writing to please anyone else.

Back to the topic, Raya is here and for the first time in my life, i did not go to any house to beraya. 

i just stayed home and served all the guests...

During a week stay at my kampung in Batu Kikir, I never went out for beraya. 

Even my mom just stayed at home because she is worked up with all the cooking.

And this year raya is slightly different because not everyone is being a pain in the ass.

This is because i got my own room instead of being pushed around by the elderly.

So that is a YAY!

Moreover, i got to play a lot and a lot of firecrackers this raya!

Well, that just it...

And, RIP diet. I am fat like a pig again after a week of non stop eating.

Less than a month towards FINAL EXAM

Yupp, final exam is around the corner... this is the exam that determine whether i continue PISMP or not... Fail this exam, one will be given A CHANCE for a retest and if you fail again, adios, amigos...

Most TESLians in Malaysia, are really worried about this exam and i believed the paper that everyone of us really scared of is ENGLISH STUDIES.

Yes, literature, talks about The Bard of Avon's masterpiece.. for my college of course.. talks about all these literary devices... and you have to think critically, deeply and present your inner thoughts vividly....

English Studies is the killer paper for most Teslians... What is more, there's unseen poem by an unseen poet and unseen short story by an unseen author section... UNSEEN as in you never read the story (if you are not a reader yourself) and you never read the poem...

BUT.. you do have an advantage if you have read the poem/story but hat just it, i think.... i mean, you're not going to analyse the poem or the story you are reading right? YOU ARE MERELY READING TO SPEND YOUR PAST TIME, why on earth will you analyse them as if you are studying? it supposed to be a leisure reading.. a reading that can free you from all the stress and tensions from schools...

TBH, the unseen section really doesnt help the students and it's only making the typically-literature-is-rubbish paper HARDER... this is the paper that will send some of us back home forever...

 i dont hate literature, i only hate the fact that i have to answer questions on poem/story i never read and study before like i've studied them for a semester...

and what about those poems and stories i have studied for 2 semesters? they will not be tested, right? thought so... even mom said it is a waste of time then... why dont we just focus on what will be tested in the exam rather than covering a wide range of poems and stories....

it is good to learn many poems and short stories but there are limits... especially when they took up so much time and energy... where you can allocate that time and energy for stuffs that really be tested!!!

so yeah... this is my rigmarole on English Studies... the paper i'm worried so much... getting a pass is a relieved.... Just hope i wont flop this exam... got no where else to go if i flop IPG...

hmmm.... pray for me and i'll pray for you...

An Update

10 days more and we are going to celebrate our very first day or Ramadan for 2012. Oh gosh, it just seems like yesterday i had my first Ramadan here in IPIK.

 Time is moving real fast and I am in my third semester and of course, the last semester for my foundation year as a PPISMP TESL student. Huh... sure, time is moving fast but going through it is the real story here... 

i still remember my first day in IPIK, blurred, scared, anxious over nothing, quiet... and now, i am pretty much crazy, SUPER DUPER CRAZY and i have a big mouth... YES... i admit, i have a really big mouth... I EVEN ARGUE WITH MISS GRACE, FOR GOD SAKE! hahaha.... 

well, Miss Grace is a really fun lecturer... and i think she is a really hard working lecturer... SHE MAKES US GO TO CLASS ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 hahaha... i know, i know, it is for our own benefits too.... hmmm....  this is a ramble, again because i dont really have anything to write but i dont want this blog to be dead so this is better than nothing, RIGHT? adios~

I sprained my ankle

Bad news... I sprained my ankle... It happened during GERKO, i was playing some tennis with Mimi, Farah and Kausilya when suddenly my leg could not work with my vigorous move to catch the ball thus resulting me tumbling down on the clay court...

 It was really hurt but i chased the thought away and continued to play the game, forcing my leg to work despite the pain is stinging. i really shouldnt do that because my leg play its revenge later that night. it really hurt when i walk so i have to hop on one leg.

 as soon as i arrived at my room, i went to bed straight away, hoping the pain will go away as I drifted out to slumber land. It worked but then this morning when i woke up, my leg started to feel pain again and then i decided to go hit the clinic to check on anything.

 The Doctor only gave me pain killers and one ointment to apply on my leg if the pain got worst... shish... what i really want is a week MC! LOL... hahaha.. anyway, that is how i sprained my ankle....

Things Fall Apart

It has been a week, but I havent read that book yet...

Why cant we enjoy the holidays like the others?

I thought this is a HIGHER LEARNING INSTITUTE, the fark we have to study too during holidays?

Chinua Achebe, IDEK how to pronounce this guy name...

This is really tiring...

and the fact that Miss G is going to held a class on SATURDAY the first week of the 3rd semester, is really really making me sick!

I love Miss G but seriously, THE FIRST WEEK,,,

                                                        NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

and file, Madam K want it to be ready the first week too...

HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO ENJOY MY HOLIDAYS?

any ways, i should really stop playing and start working if i want to survive the upcoming semester...

Last semester was a HELL and i am sure the new one is no much different from the latter...

I just hope that i can survive and receive my degree by 2016!!!

Mock Exam

As for today, two papers have passed and yet, another two are coming.
English Studies is tomorrow and Social Studies is coming the next day after that.
ES, have to be the hardest paper among the four since it's literature.

Change for the better

i want to change! 

Yes!

I need to change... a lot of awful things happened last semester and i have to make some changes to be a better person..

i sleep, a lot. i sleep during classes, and at midnight, surfing the internet like crazy!

i cant lie like this any more....

final semester in my foundation year is coming, means that final exam is coming too..

HAVE TO WORK HARD!

Anwar's verdict rather shocking~

Yes, Anwar is discharged from the accusation of sodomy...
he doesnt found guilt yet being discharged...
i dont really know those act because i dont really read laws...
totally not my cup of tea...

i just want to say that Alhamdulillah that Anwar is free...
Anwar can turn the politics we have in Malaysia into something new or rather he can make the Reformasi dream comes true...
I totally hope the current government change in the 13th General Election so that i can live a better life...

I cant wait till the day i can cross my own ballot paper...
i'll vote on the individual rather than the party...
Or maybe the party really influence my vote~

SEMESTER BREAK!

Yay... semester break! finally... i really need a break... after all the chaos i went through just to finish my 

assignments... aish... IPG life is totally different from those who enrolled in universities...

IPG IS MUCH MORE COMPLICATED AND HARD~

but i like it here fo rthe fact that i received allowance every month... kekeke... others pay to study but i am 

paid to study.. YEAH!

anyway, this semester break is not a full break when i have to study King Lear by the great Shakespeare...

well... i should read it now.. tata!

Holiday for A week!!

YES~
i'm going home tomorrow~
that is for hari raya~
a week~
just a week of not an actual freedom since assignment is heaven much!
they let me away for a week but they left us with ample of tasks, presentations and assignment!
and right after the holiday end, my batch have to go out for 10 days for the human body transformation or something~
i dont know~
but from the seniors experiences, it will be heaven tired~
huh~
but i got to see MAWADDAH!
